1. Legal Warranty Coverage

In accordance with:

  • Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16 (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios)

  • Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods

Fridgevera provides:

  • A 3-year legal warranty for domestic-use refrigeration appliances.

  • A 1-year legal warranty for commercial-use refrigeration units, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

This warranty ensures that all products sold by Fridgevera are free from manufacturing defects and conform to their advertised descriptions during the stated warranty period.


2. Scope of Warranty

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and non-conformities occurring within the warranty period, including but not limited to:

  • Faulty compressors

  • Malfunctioning temperature control systems

  • Internal cooling failures not caused by misuse or external damage

If your refrigerator develops a covered fault, Fridgevera will, at no cost to the buyer, provide one of the following remedies:

  • Repair of the product

  • Replacement with an equivalent or similar model

  • Full or partial refund if repair or replacement is impossible

The buyer has the right to choose between these solutions, except where the chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionate (Article 119 of RDL 1/2007).


3. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation, handling, or negligence

  • Physical damage after delivery (e.g., cracks, dents, broken shelves)

  • Wear-and-tear components such as door seals, light bulbs, hinges

  • Products used outside the manufacturer’s recommended conditions

  • Repairs, modifications, or services performed by unauthorized personnel


4. Commercial Use Clause

For refrigeration appliances intended for commercial use (e.g., restaurant freezers, supermarket display fridges), the warranty period is limited to 12 months, as allowed under Article 114 of RDL 1/2007, distinguishing between consumer and professional transactions.


5. Reporting a Defect

To file a warranty claim, please email wager.sales@gmail.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photographic or video evidence (if available)

  • Your contact information

Fridgevera may request:

  • A technical inspection of the unit

  • Return shipping of the appliance for further analysis

Fridgevera will organize transport or dispatch a technician where applicable.


6. Manufacturer Warranty

Some refrigerators sold by Fridgevera may include an extended manufacturer warranty (up to 5 years).

  • These additional warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer.

  • Fridgevera will assist customers in initiating manufacturer warranty claims but is not responsible for decisions made by the manufacturer regarding extended coverage.


7. Response Time

  • Fridgevera strives to respond to all warranty claims within 3 business days.

  • Valid claims are generally resolved within 7–14 working days, depending on:

    • Nature of the defect

    • Availability of spare parts or replacement units

    • Manufacturer response times (for extended warranties)
